Welcome to Goldkress Shibas.  I am a small show kennel located in Lawrence, Kansas breeding AKC champion bloodline Shiba Inus (and ONLY Shibas) for show and pet homes.

I am licensed in the state of Kansas but I am not USDA licensed because I DO NOT sell to pet stores or brokers.

ALL of my dogs are AKC registered some are also NIPPO registered.  I DO NOT breed so called “designer” or “hybrid” dogs. All of my dogs have outstanding champion bloodlines, some are champion bred and some are champions. They are NOT kept in crates or on concrete, they are in large outdoor pens where they can enjoy the fresh air & sunshine, chase leaves and just be dogs. They also get to spend time inside the house, have all of their shots, are on Proticall (for flea/tick protection)& Ivermectin (for heartworm protection) are micro-chipped and all dogs have their patella and hip OFA and eye CERF testing done and passed. I am a very “hands” on breeder.  I spend a lot of time with my dogs and they all love to be held, kissed and loved on, they are very healthy, happy dogs with excellent temperaments and dispositions. I breed for correct breed standards and outgoing loving temperments and personilities, NO puppy will be sold strictly for breeding, if not going to a confirmed show home he/she will be sold on a spay/neuter contract.
